Every Day is Sunday

Currently lacking in general mobility and while I’m still suffering from nose-and-throat disease, astronomy nevertheless does not remain unattempted. Since there is little else I can do (in part due to the weather conditions), I can at least use my old, cheap refractor to stare at the sun and count spots; the new, full-aperture sun filter helps. Unusually, I can do this almost every afternoon when the sun shows itself in my living room window. Currently, there are two large spots and a group of spots just coming up; the latter will be interesting to observe.
